Bio Resource Institute conducts research for highly value-added products using mainly fermentation technology and microbiology. Bio Resource Institute holds numerous patents due to their outstanding research. In addition, it works on joint projects with many universities and institutes in Korea, USA and other countries.

The Livestock science R&D Center brings together the top experts of every livestock breed of livestock and feed formulation experts to manage the feed research and development areas in formulation, quality control, and overall development processes of the EASY BIO group. Through continuous research in our own farms as well as cooperation with external institutions and universities, we have achieved annual feed grade improvement and cost reduction. We are also currently evaluating the applications of the additives created by EASY BIO.

Optipharm

Optipharm, one of our subsidiaries, provides veterinary solutions and diagnosis of animal diseases as well as research in the diverse industry fields. Optipharm produces specific pathogenic-free pigs for medical purposes and develops recombinant proteins through animal bioreactors; Development of GMO chickens, GFP miniature pigs for organ implementation is another continuously research area at Optipharm. Optipharm ranked first with the largest market share in veterinary diagnosis sector and is increasing its scope of research to a more diverse fields of study.

The Central Analysis Laboratory is our strong analytical center of NIR, nutrients and harmful ingredients, microorganisms, and water quality for all subsidiary companies.
The Central Analysis Laboratory has been officially recognized for its quality systems and testing capabilities by obtaining accredited certification KOLAS, whose test results internationally certify the reliability of analytical institutions. In addition, the laboratory has the most advanced analytical equipment and top-level professionals who are in charge of analyzing feed and additives not only just within EASY BIO, but in the entire livestock industry in Korea.

Enzyme research center

GNC Bioferm was established in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1985 as a subsidiary company of EASY BIO Inc. and produces Non-GMO fungal enzymes for various types of animal diets. Its enzyme was the first to be registered in the EU and every enzyme produced afterwards has been officially registered as well. In addition, GNC Bioferm has received FeedAssureTM HACCP and GMP certification.

Biochemistry research center

Pathway Intermediates International was established in 2011 as a joint venture with EASY BIO and Pathway Intermediates UK in Cheonan, Korea. It has received ISO 22000, and FAMI-QS certification.
Since it has unique cutting-edge technology to provide solutions from natural lipid based molecules, Pathway Intermediates in UK received the prestigious Queens Award for enterprise in 2012 which demonstrates outstanding achievement in international trade, innovation, and sustainable development.
